- Auld Lang Syne
- 2/F JinYuan Bld, 88 Song Yuan Rd, Luohu District, 2588-7000. Nice atmosphere with a younger crowd than the Ditian Bar, well behaved. Nightly shows (all in Chinese, but fun!). Unlike clubs elsewhere in Asia or the west, there is no nudity and suggestive behavior is kept low key. Busy on weekends, so you might want to reserve a table and arrive before 10pm.

- 8/F Shenzhen Royal Hotel, 1090 Wenjin North Rd, 2562-8888. Mainly Karaoke. More mature crowd (25-30+).
- Smart Jack Bar
- 501A Seascape Square (Hai Jing Guang Chang), Seaworld, Shekou, 0755-2685-5509, email. 5/F of the Seaview Tower in Seaworld. Gay-owned bar and nightclub. Small, but quite nice.
- Why Not Bar
- 3/F Huo Li Club, behind Jing Du Hotel (close to Da Ju Yuan), 8236-6823. Popular gay karaoke lounge that turns into a disco after midnight. Two VIP rooms for private karaoke. Good music (western and Chinese mixed). Very busy on the weekends. Many younger guys, but not many English speakers. Beware of "ducks" (MBs).

"Went to V Bar (inside the Crown Plaza Hotel, opposite Windows of the World) and it's a nice, fun atmosphere - nice lighting, themed decorations, a pool in the club, cabanas, etc. Wear black if you go. The live band was quite good, both musically as well as at getting the crowd fired up to participate. As a place to meet gay men, I would not recommend it (though I did encounter two gays) - the drinks aren't strong enough and the guys aren't hot enough. I prefer the gym rats and circuit boys, and they definitely aren't going to V Bar on Sat nights." -- tony20009, Jan 21, 2008

Gay-owned disco offering a warm, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Hot dance mixes and shows nightly. Special events Fri-Sun. Karaoke 7:30pm-11pm, shows 11pm-12:30am, disco from 12:30am till late. Upscale crowd of local young professionals and visitors. Lesbians and women-friends of gay are also welcome. Free entrance. Cash only. 深圳紅岭中路2033號商場2樓(博愛医院對面)
