• Hong Bar
  Blue Caribbean (a kind of mall), Ke Hua Bei Rd. A nice, cozy and comfortable interior with lounge sofas as well as tables. Upstairs there are semi-private rooms for those who like to enoy conversations/drinks in a more intimate atmosphere. These rooms are like balconies that look down onto the main floor. Crowd is mostly younger.

  "Went to the new MC bar, just opened three days ago. The club was great. Mostly young, local Chinese guys/ Lots of ducks (MBs) but also many nice guys just out for fun. The atmosphere was great. • Yi Jia Yi Jiuba (One Plus One Bar)
  3/F 1st Club Jiuba, Hongxing Lu Erduan. Ask your taxi driver to go to the Bowling Hall near the Wanfujing Shopping Centre 万福井 in Zongfu Lu 总府路. When you are outside the main door of the bowling center, walk east on the street parallel to Zongfu Lu towards Hongxing Lu. 100m ahead, at the crossroad with Hongxing lu, you will find this place on your righthand side. Another simple way to get there is to get to the crossroad between Zongfu Lu, Dacisi Lu and Hongxing Lu Erduan, and walk north on the western sidewalk of Hongxing Lu Erduan. You will see the glittering sign for '1st Club Jiuba' on your lefthand side. Just pop onto the escalators, get to 1/F, and ... get your senses ready for one of the most exotic experiences in Chengdu! As soon as the show ends the drag queens get changed into "Priscilla" style clothes and head to another place...you can ask them about other places to dance or where to meet other gays and lesbians.   "Yi Jia Yi Jiuba has undergone a complete renovation. The speakers have been replaced by an excellent new sound system (no need for earplugs anymore). The stage is now almost twice the former size and new tall tables with bar stools have completely changed the overall look of the place comparable to a high-end pub. Don't let the outside of the building and the elevator put you off because those have not been renovated, but once you step into the bar, you will be pleasantly surprised. Although it has been reported that the bar is not cruisy at all, during my recent two visits some people did cruise me, but very discreetly. The show is a lot better as well...new routines, better costumes and some amazing professional dancers.
